Philosophy    Architecture is the art of the possible in a world of infinite choices and not so unlimited budgets.  Because what we design will be part of the built environment for decades, we owe a responsibility to the community to ensure that our buildings and landscapes enhance the best urban settings, and begin healing the worst.

Architecture is not style, though elements of style and current fashion are always perceivable in its form.  Strong architecture always has something to say about the time and place in which it resides.  It does not mock or imitate the past, but tells a story about cultural evolution and history.

Architecture is an art of optimism – about the future – that we will have one – and that it can be made better by conscious choice.

Giving Back    We believe that giving back to the community means applying the knowledge learned from our practice to help support our neighbors and community.
